Board Meeting 10/14/24: Process Introduction
This presentation, given to the Board during their 10/14 meeting, reviews the overall redistricting process, background datasets, the project website, and the boundary planning criteria survey.
Elementary Capacity Overview: This document provides an overview of how the elementary capacities were calculated.
Boundary Planning Criteria Survey Results Report: This report reviews the results of the initial boundary planning criteria survey. This survey asked respondents to choose their top 3 criteria (from a list of criteria that is typically used in a redistricting process), and provide additional feedback and questions about the process.
Enrollment Projections Report: This report details the historical and projected enrollment for the Middletown City Schools.
Community Meeting: On December 11th at 6 p.m., a community meeting was held in the auditorium at Middletown High School. Prior to this meeting, a series of 4 boundary options were introduced and available to review. The meeting ws open-house style, and all community members are invited to attend. During this meeting, community members were able to review large maps, have conversations with the consultant and District representatives, and ask questions about the process and the boundary options.
